Heavy Vehicles will be banned on highways – Chinese New Year 2019 (Road Ban)

Heavy vehicles will be banned on highways from 2/2/2019 – 4/2/2019 and 9/2/2019 -10/2/2019 by Malaysia Road Transport Department (JPJ).

This  is to inform that heavy vehicles will be banned form ALL roads for 4 days during the Chinese New Year (CNY) festival in 2019. The ban will take effect on February 2-4 and February 9-10, 2019. The road ban is applicable to all roads in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. The ban is part of the efforts of the Malaysia Goverment to reduce road accidents during the fastive period.

As usual, due to Chinese New Year, certain heavy vehicles will be banned on highways from 2/2/2019 – 4/2/2019 and 9/2/2019 – 10/2/2019 by Malaysia Road Transport Department (JPJ).
